Our firm has an established record of excellence in advising and representing our clients on environment and planning law issues. Our clients’ concerns are many and varied from the individual who fears the particular consequences of a proposed development for their home, farm or enterprise to community groups concerned about the wider impact of a large development on their local area and environment.
We provide advice and guidance to clients at every stage of the planning and environment regulatory process. This ranges from dealing with initial objections to planning applications, to analysing planning decisions, preparing appeals and representing clients before oral hearings convened by An Bord Pleanála or the Environmental Protection Agency.
Where appropriate, we may also advise and represent clients right through to proceedings in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court seeking judicial review by the Courts of decisions made by the Board or the EPA.
Where clients are adversely affected by a development, we may advise them on planning compliance and enforcement procedures. Where appropriate, we may also advise them on the law of nuisance.
